Evening Hands On Cooking Classes
Throughout the year we are running a regular monthly cooking class featuring seasonal produce, cooking styles and techniques to fit in with the changing seasons. I have created new seasonal menus to reflect this.
If you grow herbs, vegetables and maybe some fruit, why not learn more about what to do with the produce when harvesting! For example when the lemon tree is groaning prepare preserved lemons, lemon curd and the Italian style Limoncello.
Start time: 6.30pm (3 hour class)

Wednesday April 1 -
Little zucchini fritters with cherry tomato salsa, spicy fried whitebait with ravigout sauce, Lamb on rosemary skewers with Middle Eastern coleslaw and Greek style potatoes, soft meringue roulade with passionfruit cream
Wednesday April 29 - Grilled haloumi with pomegranate salad and herb dressing, Asian butterflied organic chicken with Watercress salad, Pear and walnut tart
Wednesday May 26 - Little risotto cakes with mushrooms
Celeriac remoulade with smoked trout
Braised pork neck with juniper berries
Buttermilk puddings with citrus salad
Tuesday July 1 - Twice baked gorgonzola and pear soufflés
Sardines stuffed with capers, currants and mint
Butterflied lamb on white bean and cauliflower puree
Chocolate mousse cake with strawberries
Wednesday July 29 - Potato gnocchi with burnt sage butter and leek and blue cheese sauce
Seared venison leg steaks with Roasted root vegetable salad and walnuts
Seafood pie with saffron kipfler potatoes
Spicy poached winter fruit with orange wafers

Hands on Cooking Classes for Young Adults
Do you want to learn to cook then come and meet some like minded young people who want to have fun in the kitchen in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Age group:
18 - 25 years
Thursday 14 May
25-30 years Thursday 21 May
Time: 6.30 pm (3 hours)
Cost : $75 pp
We finish the class with a sit down dinner with wine
Wear closed in shoes - we provide aprons, cooking equipment, recipes notes and experienced tutors
